Service description |

Let Us Auction It started trading in 2004 and can sell your unwanted goods on eBay for you. New to the UK, this eBay-based business concept is better known in the US as a 'DropShop' and saves people time by selling goods on eBay on their behalf.
Who hasn't got dozens of items in their loft, garage or study they have been thinking about selling for months or even years ? But somehow you just never get round to it. That's because it takes time and a lot of effort and there is always something more important going on.
But help is now just around the corner and all you have to do is bring the items you want to sell to our store at BSS House on Cheney Manor Industrial Estate in Swindon and our staff will handle the rest.
So how does it work ?
First of all, you need to establish if the item you want to sell has any value and meets our acceptance criteria. We only accept items for sale that are worth at least £30 and some items can't be sold because they are on the eBay exclusion list. We would advise you either email or call us to check the potential value and acceptability of your item before dropping off goods.
When you arrive at our store, our staff will :
1) Check the value and acceptability of your item 2) Make recommendations on the appropriate 'Auction Starting Price' and/or 'Reserve Price' and other auction features 3) Ask you to complete our Order Form and sign up to our Terms and Conditions 4) Take professional photographs of your items 5) Research your item and write a detailed description 6) List your item for sale on eBay 7) Answer any questions from bidders 8) Collect payment from the winning bidder 9) Pack and ship your item to the winning bidder (buyer pays for postage) 10) Deal with any after-sales questions
Our staff will give you instructions on how to follow the auction of your item on eBay (if you have a computer) so you can see people bidding for your item. There's nothing more exciting than the spectacle of a bidding frenzy for goods which belong to you! The next thing you know, a cheque arrives in the post from Let Us Auction It and you can spend your newly found cash on something you really need. Alternatively, we can transfer the money directly into your bank account if you prefer.

Fees |
 |
Selling things on eBay is labour intensive and involves a lot of work if you want to do the job properly and achieve an acceptable final selling price for your goods. That's why so many people don't get round to selling on eBay. Our commission is very reasonable considering the amount of work we have to do and the results we achieve.
Our commission on most items is 35% of the final selling price. Please note this INCLUDES all the eBay and PayPal fees and VAT. Commission is subject to a minimum of £5 per item.
If you want to set a starting price higher than 99p or you want to set a Reserve Price, we charge a small fee to cover additional eBay costs.
We have a separate charging structures for cars, caravans, motorbikes, houses and businesses. Please contact us for further details.
