Hi there, I specialise in musical instruments & associated merchandise & even though I'm blowing my own trumpet (No pun intended!) I really do know my stuff.
I have been involved in the music industry for over 30 years, as a retailer, session musician & music teacher & am a respected & trusted ebay seller.
I will do the following work on your behalf:
Research the value; saleability and acceptability of your item/s. Renovate your item/s if necessary. Make recommendations as to the appropriate sale category & auction starting price.
I usually start auctions at £0.99p as I believe that all items find their true value over the auction period & also staring low, gives more of kick start to the auction, besides it being cheaper (To you) to list on ebay at a low starting price.
I will take professional photographs of your item/s, research the item and write a detailed description. List your item for sale on ebay. Track its progress. Answer any questions from bidders.
Vet the bidders with low feedback. Invoice & organise payment from the winning bidder. Carefully pack and ship your item/s to the winning bidder, following cleared payment (Don't forget, that buyer pays for postage!)
I will handle any after-sales questions. I will also give you clear instructions on how to follow the auction of your item on ebay via your computer, so you can see who's bidding for your item & check it's status.
There's nothing more exciting than the spectacle of a bidding frenzy for goods, which belong to you! I will promptly within 48 hours of cleared payment, pay you out for your item/s either by cheque, bank transfer, cash or PayPal.

To sell effectively on ebay, it can be a very labour intensive process and can involve a lot of work if you want to do the job properly and achieve an acceptable final selling price for your goods. That's why so many people do not achieve the success they would like on ebay.
My commission is just 15% from the final selling price of your item/s (Net of ebay & PayPal fees) You should see a return of at least 75-80% of the final realised sale price (After commission & fees have been deducted) There are no hidden charges for you to worry about.
A collection charge (Unless agreed otherwise) will be in the region of £3 & that will include as many items as I can fit into my vehicle. |

Once I have confirmed that your goods comply with the ebay rules and meet my own acceptability criteria, I will list your goods for sale on ebay for duration of between 5 and 10 days at my discretion. The Starting Price will be (Unless otherwise agreed) £0.99 and no Reserve Price will be imposed (Unless otherwise agreed) Any item listed with a Reserve Price, or a Starting Price higher than £0.99 will be categorised as a Premium Auction Item and will attract a fee appropriate to the SET reserve price (Minimum fee is £5.00) This must be paid in advance. This fee will be refunded if the item is successfully sold.
Please be aware that I have no control over the Final Selling Price, which may be less than the amount you could obtain for your goods through alternative means. Of course, it could also be more than you would have expected!
After the payment clearance period (5 working days for cheque's)& return period (7 days) I will disburse to you the Final Selling Price of your goods less my Commission and ebay/PayPal charges either by cash, cheque, bank transfer or PayPal.
In the event any of your items not being sold, at my discretion, we may offer them up for auction for a further period of between 5 and 10 days & at no extra charge to you. For Reserve Price 'Premium Auction Items' I will consult you first before proceeding and, if you agree for the item to be re-listed, further charges may apply.
In the event your items remain unsold after the second listing, I will notify you and you must collect these items from my premises within 10 days following the end of the auction, or these items will be disposed of at my discretion.Any item/s that do not sell will NOT attract any commission (For reserve price auctions an up front commissions appropriate to the SET Reserve Price will have already been charged). The only charges you will incur if the item does not sell and is returned to you, will be a £3.00 handling fee.
Return Period:
Once in receipt of your item, the Winning Bidder has up to 7 days to return the item to me but ONLY if the item does not match the description listed on ebay or the information you gave me about the item was incorrect or false. It is therefore important that you make full and accurate disclosure to me about your items to prevent items being returned. I cannot transfer funds into your bank account or send you a cheque until the Return Period has expired. Please be aware that the entire process from listing your items to you receiving funds from us could take up to 28 days.

I am acting as a Consignee of your goods and make no representations or warranties in connection with this Agreement or the services performed and products provided related to this Agreement. Products and services provided under this Agreement are provided "as is" and without warranty, express, implied or statutory. I specifically disclaim all implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of title, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. I am not liable for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages that may arise from or in connection with this Agreement, their performance of this Agreement or the sale of your item. In no case shall I be liable for actual damages in excess of the Final Selling Price of your items, less our Commission and Fees.
