Service description |

I am an experienced eBayer (reg 2002). I am computer literate and enjoy using Ebay to make money. By acting as a Trading Assistant I can help people who have less time and computer experience make a profit by selling their unwanted items on Ebay.
I am happy to consider selling anything you have (eBay rules permitting) except mobile phones and items of clothing. I offer a drop off service but please contact me for details. I will collect items locally for a small extra charge. Please email me to arrange dropping off/collecting items to make sure I will be available. The Sunday Times (Business Section), Irish Sunday World and Sunday Tribune have all printed articles about my eBay selling activities. Also I was recently invited to appear on RTE's Seoige & O'Shea live TV show in Dublin, talking about Ebay selling. You can rest assured I am a reputable and reliable seller and will aim to get the best possible outcome at auction.
My feedback is 99.7% positive. I accept cheques and Paypal payments so am able to sell items Worldwide. |

Fees |
 |
I am entirely responsible for photographing and packaging the items that are to be auctioned. NOTE: I only sell items I can examine personally. My responsibility is to pay eBay listing/final value fees and Paypal fees. My commission varies slightly depending on the final value fees that Ebay charge but is usally in the region of 25%. This depend on the final sale price and whether the buyer uses Paypal or not. See terms and conditions for full details |

Items for sale must be accompanied by a full description written by you for me to use on eBay. This must contain as much information as possible including dimensions, conditon, background etc. I have a form for us both to sign stating that you wish me to sell the item and that the description is accurate and that you agree to my fees/commission being deducted.
When I receive your item I expect a cash/cheque payment (this is usually 2 Euro or less per item depending on how many photographs are on the listing etc) to cover the insertion fee, which still has to be paid even if your item does not sell
Presuming your item sells, once the winning bidder's payment clears and they are satisfied that the item they receive is as you described it, I will send you a cheque for the amount of the winning bid, minus my commission. If you have a Paypal account I can transfer funds directly or if you prefer you can collect the cash from me yourself.
If there are any problems arising from the description of the item being inaccurate, and I get negative feedback as a result, I reserve the right to refuse to forward payment as recompense for loss of future earnings as a Trading Asst.
I always obtain a certificate of posting and insist that higher priced items are sent by signed for "registered" post, this is to avoid buyers lying and saying that items have not arrived and expecting a refund. I take no responsibility for items lost/damaged in the postal system and will not issue refunds for lost/damaged items if the option to send "registered" post was not taken advantage of by the buyer.
My fees will work out at approximately 25% of the final sale price.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING: The final sale price is not negotiable, if you wanted your item to sell for more I cannot help that, when the auction ends it is sold it is legally binding, you cannot change your mind.
If your item does not sell I will let you know and forward/email the "unsold item" message from Ebay.
When I agree to sell your item we will discuss whether you then collect the unsold item from me or you allow me to dispose of unsold items via the local charity shop/amenity site. |
